Mertua oh mertua...

one thing about being a daughter-in-law to a family who runs a food business is that you would never be left hungry.
and for saying that means skipping a meal would be impossible!

after giving birth to Aliff, i managed to lose 16kg.
and in order to achieve my dream weight, i tried to skip dinner.
at first, it seemed fruitful.
but then my parents-in-law knew about me skipping my dinner.
wanna know what they did after that?
they sent hubby's elder niece to bring a tray of dinner meal to me.
how can i say no to that?

now i just can't wait for Ramadhan to come.
i need to lose more weight.
being a lazy bum in exercising, skipping dinner seems as easy as breathing to me.

but on the other hand, i do feel really thankful to have such a wonderful family-in-law.
i know a lot of people out there would do anything to build a good in-law's relationship.
i'm not sure if this could be considered as one of the tips.
but i believe by respecting and accepting your in-law wholeheartedly regardless of their weaknesses or flaws, would really help in building up a good relationship with them.
not only you would be happier, your mister would definitely love you more!
and in return, he also would do the same to your parents.

ya, some people would say they've tried, but the relationship with their in-laws seems to be deteriorating.
be patient. and say a lot of prayers.
insyaAllah... akan dipermudahkan.
be humble & be nice.
just don't ever give up okay.
ya, easy said than done.
but you would not know until you have tried it!
